We provide a variety of ideas and choices in the type of event you wish to host to show your personality and style. The company is strong in negotiation, budgeting, public relations, staff and production management.
THE CEO:
Event Producer/Designer and Manager, La Tonya Washington of LW Special Events Management LLC, has an artistic eye, warm touch along with a fun-loving personality that makes you, the client, feel comfortable in her hands. She is gifted in taking a client’s raw vision and budget into account and transforming it into an affair to be remembered. “I’m very passionate in what I do and will keep the night oil burning until the business of the day is handled and all needs met.” She is also Executive Producer of Shades of Beauty, a pampering and empowerment event for ladies on the move; and Real Talk The Movement, a forum that discusses our need to learn and exercise better understanding and communication between the genders.
Ms. Washington is a graduate of Youngstown State University and also attended the UCLA Extension Program in Public Relations, specializing in Fund Raising and Special Events. She has collaborated on projects with and for Multi-Platinum Recording Artist, Jay King, the mastermind behind Club Nouveau; Grammy Award Nominee Jazz Guitarist, Doc Powell, current guitarist on the Mo’Nique Show and Stellar and Dove Award Winner, Kurt Carr. She is also the Events Director for the ABA Basketball League SoCal Swish here in Southern California. She is on the Board of Advisors for Bradshaw and Company Business & Consulting; Leadership Council for The Connected Women LA Chapter and Saks Fifth Avenue Ambassador for CJ Jeans, the Blue Jean Line of Cookie Johnson, the wife of the Legendary Basketball Great, Earvin “Magic” Johnson.
